This lunchtime, 1UP, made it to motorway, 19°C, 10mph tailwind W:
64.7 / 21.1 (Indicated 68.4)
Tank steady at 62.0 (Indicated 65.5) / 498.9 / Range 230 . Fuel gauge F____|««««E . UG up 0.3 at 59.3 / DTE167
Still hanging on to 1/2 tank on digital gauge which seems a bit weird with nearly 500 miles travelled and only 230 apparently left!!!

A load of running about this past few days collecting grandweans from airports and taking another home. Now up to 304 miles since the last fill up and two pips lost. Fuel gauges are not linear. Actual plus the car's computer estimate is now over 600 so the 750 from a full tank looks possible. Adjusted mpg is 62.1 to date. Still a long way to go before the final result is known.
Kia Ceed 1.6 crdi isg Retired undefeated on 25,720 miles and 62.91 mpg overall

Sunday morning went to Birmingham 4UP - took father-in-law to an open day at his old school football club:
58.7 / 78.8 (Indicated 62.6)
67.0 / 77.8 (Indicated 71.4) Great run back
Adjusted tank at 61.8 (Indicated 65.9) / 655.5 / Range 60 . Fuel gauge F____|___«E . UG down 0.5 at 58.8 / DTE 4
On board numbers for this tank now reduced by 6.59% (I've filled up this morning and that was the over-report). Low fuel light came on at 646 miles - a record distance for me

53.9 / 20.2
This morning, 2UP, mild 20°C:

Tank at 56.1 (Indicated 59.3) / 42.7 / Range 610 . Fuel gauge F««««|««««E . UG at 58.1 / DTE611
I've adjusted the UltraGauge calibration as it's been consistently under-reporting last 5 tanks.

Last night was awful
, a lorry fire blocked the main route so multiple detours, single track country roads and everyone else doing the same meant another detour to a pub for 20 minutes for a small beverage
to try and work out the best way home, 2UP, 23.5°C. The start/stop system got a good workout
:
48.6 / 23.1 (Indicated 51.4) - Not too bad considering!
This morning, 2UP, 19°C:
63.5 / 22.5 (Indicated 67.2 - got it over 70 but the multiple traffic light section near work knocked me down as usual)
Tank down 0.7 at 55.4 (Indicated 58.6) / 88.3 / Range 625 . Fuel gauge F««««|««««E . UG down 1.5 at 56.5 / DTE548

Much better going home last night, still detour #2 though, 2UP, 23.5°C, wind 3SW:
53.7 / 23.1 (Indicated 56.8)
This morning just spotted the motorway was at a standstill so took detour#2 reversed, 2UP, 16°C, headwind 2E:
54.9 / 20.6 (Not as good for FE as loads of traffic lights but shorter)
Tank down 0.4 at 55.0 (Indicated 58.1) / 129.0 / Range 585 . Fuel gauge F««««|««««E . UG down 0.1 at 56.4 / DTE505

Last night, 2UP, car sharer said according to Google the traffic wasn't too bad on the approach to the motorway so off we went and it was lying! However not a bad result, took a little detour up and down a junction to miss some of the crawling traffic out, 20.5°C, blustery crosswind 23SSW gusting to 40+:

Going home Friday lunchtime, 2UP, 16.5°C, really blustery again, crosswind 17S gusting to 31:
58.9 / 22.2 (Indicated 62.3)
Total for Friday commute: 60.5 / 44.9mi
- don't break 60 for the day too often.

Lost pip number 3 at 417 miles and if tank indicator is accurate (very unlikely) half a tank left. Actual plus car computer forecast is now 653 miles so 750 still looking good. Adjusted mpg 62.4. 19 days in - can it possibly go to over 30?
