Had a run to the vets in the Jazz Si. The route takes in one of my favourite hills on the return trip, I've had some big numbers in the now retired FR-V. The Jazz didn't disappoint and nice to see another 80+mpg run:

My turn to drive this week, car sharer's daughter came too so 3UP. Drizzle, 5.5°C, 8mph crosswind S, bit busier than normal, hampered my efforts:

51.5 (Indicated 54.3) / 22.5

Tank down 0.1 at 52.8 (Indicated 55.8) / 434.9 / Range 155 . Fuel gauge F____|_«««E . UG up 0.1 at 52.3 / DTE153

I ran the CEO over to the train station this morning; first time the car has moved since last Wednesday. While I was out spent £30 at Morrisons for 25 odd litres at £1.177 per litre. I updated Fuelly and Spritmonitor. Only managed 55 and a bit mpg for the last 58.95 litres. Down to 58.04 mpg overall. Must do better but I don't know how since my weekly mileage is very low.

I think we just need warmer weather TE, it always helps, particularly smaller journeys as the car actually has a chance of warming up! In my case I just need less traffic going home, in a morning is fine

Monday night wasn't so bad, detour#2, 2UP, 4°C, 5mph tail/crosswind WSW:

47.2 (Indicated 49.8) / 20.1

Tuesday morning, normal, frosty 1.5°C, 9mph head/crosswind WSW:

53.4 (Indicated 56.4) / 22.6

Lost 6th pip @ 473 miles

Last night was rubbish again - avoided the main route out of the city, multiple detours, crawling up big hills and lots of stop/start. 2UP, 5°C, drizzling, 6mph tail/crosswind WNW:

42.0 (Indicated 44.3) / 21.4

This morning, better, frosty again 2.5°C, 4mph head/crosswind SW:

56.0 (Indicated 59.1) / 22.6

Tank down 0.5 at 52.3 (Indicated 55.2) / 521.6 / Range 50 . Fuel gauge F____|___«E . UG down 0.2 at 52.0 / DTE63

Low Fuel Light @ 514 miles

I have a slow puncture I need to try and get fixed at some point. PSI dropped to 40 from 47 when I checked it this morning.

Bit of driving in the Jazz Si yesterday. Various trips totalled 23.4 miles @ 60.4mpg :)

My turn to drive this week, getting brighter in a morning - might not be too long before dipped headlights aren't needed 8-). Sunrise was 06:52 today but it definitely wasn't completely dark when I got up at 05:30 - astonomical twilight I presume!
4°C, 6mph head/crosswind WSW, bit of a queue approaching traffic light section:

Up at 05:30!!

Even in the fishing season (starts Wednesday) I'm not stirring at that time.

08:00 is early enough for me.

Managed just under 100 miles last week, mainly on short runs, so true mpg hovering around 55. Might start to see an improvement after Wednesday.

I usually get up an hour before I leave for work. As it gets lighter I quite often do some jobs around the garden / greenhouse. This morning I washed my car before I left!

Yesterday lunchtime bit the bullet and took car for puncture repair, only problem was a screw had gone through sidewall so new tyre needed. Got £10 knocked off price asking for a

discount for a net £69, no too bad! Had to leave it with them, abysmal mpg but very convenient being so close to work - oh well, got to be done:

23.9 / 0.8

Last night was a bit rubbish! A national rail strike meant very busy roads, made it detour #2 but then had multiple other detours up narrow country lanes with only passing places

to avoid the worst. Car sharer's daughter had caught tram to work as her train had been cancelled so 3UP, 11.5°C, 6mph tailwind W:

46.8 (Indicated 49.3) / 22.3

This morning was great run until I got to traffic light section which knocked me back more than normal, 11°C, 12mph head/crosswind WSW:

54.7 (Indicated 57.7 ) / 22.5

Tank down 0.7 at 50.9 (Indicated 53.7) / 133.5 / Range 485 . Fuel gauge F_«««|««««E . UG down 0.9 at 52.9 / DTE462
