Normal route looked OK last night on Google traffic but by the time I got there it was rubbish, 2UP, no detours but stop/start/crawl, -1°C, mainly headwind ENE10:

Another fill up today. 29 miles left on the range indicator and fuel warning light lit so managed to squeeze in 54.01 litres. MPG from last fill 63.5 compared with car computed 61.8. Since there was a negative difference between actual and computed at last fill overall car computed accuracy is very close.
OK, think about this. It is said that "generally" car computers are optimistic. Should "in my/our experience" be substituted for generally. I say this because we are working with a vanishingly small sample - tens out of hundreds of thousand cars. Just a thought.

You’re probably right TE
- I’m using a 5.3% reduction on my numbers as that’s the average over-report on the indicated mpg on the on-board computer to the calculated actual over 42 tanks.
