That's just rubbing it in Gord. Not only does my wife only manage a pitiful 32MPG from our Fiat - I don't finish till 5 today either!

I try to give her Hypermiling tips and she calls me a nerd

This morning, 10°C, head/cross wind 14mph. Two pickups this morning so 3UP and apart from these didn't have to fully stop at all for the remaining 20+ miles which makes a nice change :) :
64.1 / 22.9

Tank up 0.3 to 60.5 / 297.0 / DTE474 Fuel gauge at 9+/14
Honda FR-V 2.2 i-CTDi - Highest 117mpg - 6.1 mile run (+161%).
Best tank: 66.92mpg (+49%). Longest tank 768 miles.
Best commute: 97.1mpg - 42.8 miles (+117%).

Last night not so good, busy, busy, loads of engine off stops at lights, 3UP, 14°C then 11°C into the rain near home, slightly less miles as dropped off car share #1 at in-laws house so less fuel used than I would have:
56.6 / 22.1

Monday total: 60.2 / 45.0miles

This morning, colder 6°C, side wind 6mph, 3UP. I'd garaged the car so numbers for first 2 miles were decent and then they dropped for next 4 before picking up again. I was disappointed not to break 60. In the car park at work had to wait 2 minutes (engine off) while someone did a really bad job at parking - this didn't help! I'd really like to keep this tank above 60 on the commute but it's colder in a morning than it should be, send me some warm please...
58.9 / 22.9

Tank down 0.4 to 60.1 / 342.0 / DTE425 Fuel gauge on 8.3/14
Honda FR-V 2.2 i-CTDi - Highest 117mpg - 6.1 mile run (+161%).
Best tank: 66.92mpg (+49%). Longest tank 768 miles.
Best commute: 97.1mpg - 42.8 miles (+117%).

Last night not great, busy as usual, 3UP, only 11°C, windy:
56.8 / 22.7

Tuesday total: 57.5 / 45.6miles

This morning, coldest morning on this tank 5°C, head wind 13mph, 2UP, 7 mile warm up :( :
55.6 / 22.9

Tank down 0.5 to 59.6 / 387.4 / DTE373 Fuel gauge on 7.4/14
I'm pretty sure the UG is reading low as it matches the FCD (which is always low) and is under 1/2 tank whereas fuel gauge is over 1/2. Hoping for a 60+ tank again :) - a record tank would be nice ;)

Last night was rubbish, extremely busy for traffic light section, mpg was much lower than usual over this part of the route, 20 minutes to go 3 miles, fighting to bring it back up for the rest of the trip and actually managed the best outbound commute for the week (I think I tried even harder than usual :) ), 2UP, 12°C:
58.3 / 22.7

Wednesday total: 56.9 / 45.2miles

This morning, another cold morning, 5°C, drizzling, head wind 5mph, 2UP, 7 mile warm up :( :
55.9 / 22.7

Tank down again to 59.3 / 432.6 / DTE324 Fuel gauge on 6.5/14 Half tank was at 410 - same as last tank which was a record :D .
Honda FR-V 2.2 i-CTDi - Highest 117mpg - 6.1 mile run (+161%).
Best tank: 66.92mpg (+49%). Longest tank 768 miles.
Best commute: 97.1mpg - 42.8 miles (+117%).

7 mile warm up and drizzle - I thought summer was on its way?!

I've started with FAS big time now, also changed my route again for a less direct one. Will see how this fill lasts.

My only problem is that FAS screws up my UG readings, can actually see it drop.

Might change the readout to give me things like engine temp & loads rather than MPG

That's strange :? - mine gives an 'err' 8 times out of 10 on the Inst. MPG and Trip MPG but when I bump or key start the engine again, the trip mpg has gone up. When I'm FAS'ing I don't really look at the UG other than to see how many tenths of a mile I have managed with the engine off (unless it's one of those times when there is no 'err' and I watch the Trip MPG climbing :) ).
