Home Insurance again.

Postby tighterse » Wed Dec 27, 2017 6:50 pm

Direct LIne wanted almost £260 this year, up almost 40% from £188 last year. A real shocker. I asked them for an explanation but none was forthcoming, all that was offered was a £10 discount. I told them to sharpen their pencil but they toughed it out. I out-toughed them and moved to Admiral who were £30 below last year's premium on like for like cover.

To cap it all Direct Line asked me to complete a survey - I wonder if someone will actually read my answers?

I stuck with Direct Line last year as their renewal was competitive - we shall see what they offer in 2018....

Well done anyhoo - loyalty usually doesn’t pay!
