Hello from North Yorkshire

Postby HugoRune » Thu Nov 30, 2017 2:31 pm

Hi,

I have just bought a new Yaris hybrid to replace my extremely thirsty Vauxhall Antara (A.K.A The Tank) and looking for tips to improve mileage.

Hi HugoRune and welcome to the forum - sorry I missed your post!

Please let us know how you're getting on with the Yaris Hybrid. I've never driven one of those....

Just took it to Edinburgh and back over the weekend. i got an (indicated) MPG of around 54 mpg on the way up and 56 on the way back. I was pretty happy with that as most of the journey was 55 - 70 mph, it was bloody cold and it's brand new.

So far I am happy with it, it's easy enough to drive.
