Abbreviations

By popular demand (greenman ;) )

FCD - Fuel Consumption Display (on-board computer)
FAS - Forced Assisted Stop (turn engine off manually while still moving)
DWL - Drive With Load (keep pedal planted in one position while going up and down hills)
DWB - Drive Without Brakes (try not to stop and use engine braking)
DFCO - Direct Fuel Cut-Off (no fuel used if lift off accerator and revs over about 1500) - engine braking.
P&G - Pulse and Glide (accelerate to a set speed, dump the clutch, engine off, coast until lower set speed reached, bump start and repeat - can be done with engine on too - just leave it in 'N')
PSI - Pounds per square Inch (pump up those tyres - mine are on 55PSI, better coasting, longer/more even tyre wear)
BEV - Battery Electric Vehicle (like the Nissan Leaf)
FE- Fuel Economy (Miles to the Gallon in UK)
OBD - On Board Diagnostics (My Ultra-Gauge plugs into the OBDII port under the dash)

Please feel free to add to this list
Honda FR-V 2.2 i-CTDi - Highest 117mpg - 6.1 mile run (+161%).
Best tank: 66.92mpg (+49%). Longest tank 768 miles.
Best commute: 97.1mpg - 42.8 miles (+117%).

Cheers Karl, here's some more:

UG - Ultra-Gauge - an OBDII Scan Tool and an Information centre which displays selectable engine gauges - http://www.ultra-gauge.com/ultragauge/index.htm
Coast in 'N' - Dump the clutch while moving and put gear stick in Neutral - similar to P&G (see above - there are lots of arguments as to whether coasting in 'N' or in gear is more efficient - the answer is it depends - see other threads http://www.hypermiler.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=598 and http://www.hypermiler.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=182&start=10

Best tank: 66.92mpg (+49%). Longest tank 768 miles.
Best commute: 97.1mpg - 42.8 miles (+117%).

Delta - This means "variation", or "change in speed". If you P&G by accelerating to 50mph and gliding (coasting) to 30mph would be described as a 20mph Delta. In general, the bigger the Delta, the greater the benefit to your FE.
Honda FR-V 2.2 i-CTDi - Highest 117mpg - 6.1 mile run (+161%).
Best tank: 66.92mpg (+49%). Longest tank 768 miles.
Best commute: 97.1mpg - 42.8 miles (+117%).

DPF : Diesel Particulate Filter

It's a small filter on the exhaust that removed much of the soot that's often associated with oil burners. It;s great for the environment but is very costly to replace and can harm MPG when on its regen cycle.

Heres a little more information:
