Went to Tossco earlier, looking for a nice bottle of whisky for a crimbo present spotted this amazing offer

Ended up getting a 12 year old Glenfiddich with about £7 off - any good TE?

Take care of the pennies...
People just look for the yellow label, not what is written on it.

I posted it on twitter and Tesco apologised, asked me for the store details and said they'd sort it!
Result

That's a bottle of Old Pultney - small size. I prefer 1 litre bottles. If that's the 12 y/o it's a glorious drink, just finished my birthday bottle of it the other night.

Glenfiddich 12 y/o. I certainly wouldn't refuse it but on the whole and even with that miserable discount if I had a choice I'd go for the product from Wick, not that I've anything against Dufftown.
Kia Ceed 1.6 crdi isg Retired undefeated on 25,720 miles and 62.91 mpg overall

Now driving my second Sportage.

Warning. May contain a nut.

Thanks for that TE. I'm not a whisky expert so any advice is welcome.
