Ultra-Gauge and VAG cars (Seat specifically)

Hi - I am thinking of putting an Ultra-Gauge on my shopping list as the 'new to me' mk1 Leon has no on board computer at all.

The Leon seems a great car to fit on too as the OBD port is in the middle of the dash, under the stereo, so it should be easy to route the cable up to the dash top, I hope.

Anyway, I can't see a compatibility list as it's supposed to work with all OBD cars, but I've seen the odd post suggesting that support for Volkswagen cars is a bit limited - and being as the Seat is basically a Golf mark IV, I guess that includes my car.

So, I wondered if anyone has one they use with a similar age (2001) VAG car? My car has their 1.6 16v petrol engine in it.
