Read below my experiences with my old faithful 1998 Peugeot 306 Turbo Diesel and my efforts at Hypermiling.

Firstly, heres some information regarding my 306 Turbo Diesel

Peugeot XUD9TE 1.9 litre (1905 cc) 8 valve turbocharged diesel engine delivering 92bhp (67kW) mated to a 5 Speed Manual Transmission (BE3/5). 5 Door diablo red body with 14inch 306 Alloy wheels (185/60/14). A pretty much standard car apart from the stereo.

In standard form my 306 should return approximatly 42.8MPG. Without using any hypermiling techniques I found this to be about right.
