I've got myself a set of city slickers and fitted them on my moutain bike - wow, what a difference. The speed is amazing!
Managed to pick them up brand new from a guy at work (keen racer) for £5 :D

Now that's a bargain. How wide are they?

My only annoyance is that mine are recommended @ 120psi which takes superhuman strength with my mini pump - my electric pump for the car doesn't fit the valve type.

In on the bike today and I had forgotten how tough it was in the cold. My hands are only just starting to defrost! Worth it for the exercise and knocking half the miles of my commute.

No more biking this week with the weather turned. Gutted.

Hopefully next week. Bring on the Summer!

Still waiting to jump back on the bike. I know all this rain is more than overdue but just a week of sun would be great right now!

The bike came out this weekend and I did a fair few miles.

Stamford is notorious for its parking and it made my trip a breeze. Had to go and buy a rucksack for the trip back as I didn't fancy carrying easter eggs in bags in my handle bars.

Will be looking to pick a nice day for a complete ride in. Just need to wait for a nice sunny and still day.

Got my bikes out too but I'm a bit behind my 200 miles a month target now due to the broken arm. Going to try to make it up with 2 one-way commutes to/from work when not on-call. Out for a long ride and 10 mile time trial shortly but weather looks iffy, it may be character building :D
