Walking 'MPG'

Postby Roger Mellie » Mon Dec 28, 2009 11:48 pm

I've found this useful site. It calculates how many calories you burn per mile (or any given distance) when walking-- all you do is enter your weight in lb and distance walked in miles-- then check your speed in mph.

Quality little form that. I use RunKeeper on my iPhone for my routes when walking the dogs. It doesnt give you details on cals but does plot the route on google maps so you can see where you have been. Most days I do at least 1.8 miles.
