MPGe is the MPG equivalent for electric vehicles, this figure allows you to directly compare running costs for electric vehicles. For this calculation you will need the current fuel price in pence plus the rate you pay per KW/H . You could check your electricity bill or provider for this amount.
The US EPA uses a calculation based on fuel energy values this makes it harder to make a direct comparison. We believe this unit should be based on what you pay for your fuel / electricity.
